DT-IFT-011 Specifications for mobile terminal equipment that can use the radio spectrum or be connected to telecommunications networks. Part 1. Equipment Manufacturing Identity (IMEI) code and FM radio broadcasting receiver functionality.

Establishes the specifications for the Equipment Manufacturing Identity (IMEI) code, as well as the requirement to not block the FM radio broadcasting receiver functionality of mobile terminal equipment intended for importation, marketing, and/or distribution within the national territory and that can use the radio spectrum or be connected to telecommunications networks.

For the purposes of this Official Mexican Standard, the products covered by it include all Mobile Terminal Equipment that has the ability to use the radio spectrum or connect to telecommunications networks, and that has been assigned a manufacturing identity code (IMEI).
